(PRWEB) - Worldwide Express – B.V., one of the largest operators of Worldwide Express franchises in the country, announced today that it has launched a supply chain consulting service to enhance its product offering to the SMB market. Worldwide Supply Chain Solutions℠ represents the firm’s entry into one of the most dynamic service sectors in logistics and is a service that many small to medium sized businesses have had difficulty obtaining. Worldwide Supply Chain Solutions℠ will focus on developing and implementing strategy and design and aid clients in continuously measuring, analyzing, and improving their supply chain operations with an emphasis on mitigating risk.

“This is an exciting development for us and one that our clients have been looking forward to for quite some time,” says Mike Mullen, COO of Worldwide Express – B.V.

The development of Worldwide Supply Chain Solutions℠ has been the brainchild of the company’s President, Brian Tribble, who will personally oversee its launch and implementation. Brian is a 16-year veteran of the firm and former Naval Logistics Officer with operational experience in East Africa. In addition, he is an APICS® Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) with a Transportation and Logistics (CTL) subspecialty.

“We recognized a long time ago that our clients needed access to this kind of expertise and Brian has moved us steadily in this direction. Our firm is uniquely qualified to bring this service to the Worldwide Express system” says Philip Erdoes, CEO of Bear Ventures.

Earlier this year WWEX-B.V. signaled its intent to formalize a consulting group by implementing a pair of professional designations for its employees. The Global Logistics Specialist – GLS℠ and Global Logistics Professional – GLP℠ are designations unique to the firm and compliment the certifications, designations, and admissions its consultants already have through organizations such as:

  • Department of the Navy
  • APICS®
  • Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals®
  • American Society of Transportation and Logistics®
  • International Supply Chain Education Alliance®
  • Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport®

Worldwide Supply Chain Solutions℠ is available to U.S. based customers and will become available to the Worldwide Express franchise system in Q1 of 2017.
