USA Shakespeare Fishing Tackle To Lower Costs With Warehouse Management System
AGI Worldwide, provider of the innovative software solutions for supply chain execution, announced recently that Shakespeare Fishing Tackle, the recognized brand in fishing tackle equipment and supplies, has selected its Warehouse Management and Supply Chain Execution solutions to help the company improve operational efficiencies in its warehouse and distribution operations.
Shakespeare Fishing Tackle, a K2 company, located in Columbia SC, will deploy AGI's Warehouse Management software and related solutions at multiple warehousing facilities to accommodate Shakespeare's significant growth, as well as growing requirements for better accountability, enhanced operations performance, and increased service delivery.

AGI's solutions will integrate with Shakespeare's existing order processing and accounting systems. Key components of the total solution will include:
A Warehouse Management System (WMS): The WMS will enable Shakespeare to streamline receiving processes through use of Advanced Shipping Notices, achieve real-time inventory visibility and lot control, improve order picking productivity, and have paperless operations though use of radio frequency terminals.
Web Based Retail Distribution and Allocation Module: AGI's Advanced Allocation Module gives Shakespeare the capability to provide real-time and planned distribution, forecast integration, and reserve for both in-stock and anticipated receipts.
