Tokyo Electron Receives World Class Supplier Achievement Award From Spansion
TEL's Etch Systems division has been honored with the World Class Supplier Achievement award from Spansion. TEL received this prestigious award for the Etch group's commitment to establishing and maintaining exceptional performance in customer service to Spansion.
The World Class Supplier Achievement award is the result of Spansion's World Class Supplier (WCS) program, which was established to drive leadership in technology, quality and logistics processes. These awards recognize suppliers that demonstrate exceptional performance and service to Spansion's wafer fab facilities worldwide.
"I firmly believe that Spansion has recognized TEL's focus on providing excellent customer service through teamwork. We are proud to be the only front end equipment manufacturer to receive the award this year. We are very honored, and are prepared to work even harder in 2007 to deliver the highest-quality service to Spansion," said Michael Grant, vice president of TEL US's Etch Business Unit.
"We recognize the exceptional field service and support work that the Etch Division of Tokyo Electron provided for Spansion in 2006," said Doug Duval, vice president, Global Supply Management, Spansion. "Working together with companies that focus on meeting our needs is critical to our success as a world-class wafer fab manufacturing facility."
The achievement award was presented to TEL on April 17 at Spansion's 2007 World Class Supplier awards dinner in California.
