Supply Chain Company: TLC Adds New Executive

Duane Sizemore Named Executive Vice President of Business Development

TLC (Total Logistic Control), a unit of SUPERVALU (SVU), today announced that industry veteran Duane Sizemore has joined TLC in the role of Executive Vice President of Business Development. Sizemore will report to Peter Westermann, Chief Operating Officer, and will oversee all business development initiatives for this rapidly expanding supply chain services company. Prior to joining TLC, Sizemore was Vice President of Retail / Consumer Goods Business Development with UPS Supply Chain Solutions, where he built a new business pipeline in excess of $585 million.

Sizemore's extensive logistics career began in 1984 in operations with Frito Lay, where he rose to become Manager of Logistics Field Support for an 18-state area. From there he moved to Baxter Healthcare Corporation, in the role of Region Distribution Manager, where he was able to reduce transportation cost per hundredweight by $480 million. As Director of Logistics with Petrolite Corporation, he worked at length in transportation management and customer service improvements. This position was followed by executive roles with Georgia Pacific Corporation and Breuners Home Furnishings Corporation before joining UPS Supply Chain Solutions.
