Supply Chain Company: RedTail Solutions Names Jeff Herrmann To Its Board Of Directors

RedTail Solutions, a provider of on-demand electronic trading solutions for EDI and data synchronization, recently announced that Jeff Herrmann has been named to its board of directors.

Herrmann has more than 20 years of senior management experience with a variety of supply chain software and other high-tech firms. He is the former CEO and chairman of SupplyWorks Inc., a Software as a Service (SaaS) firm for manufacturer-supplier synchronization, which was sold to Intuitive Manufacturing in 2006. He previously founded and was CEO of Optimax Systems, Inc., a provider of PC-based applications for optimized scheduling of manufacturing plants, which was acquired by i2 Technologies in 1997. Prior to that, he held senior marketing management positions with NEC Information Systems, MathSoft Inc. and Lee Data Corp.
