Softeon Announces SAP Certification Of Their WMS Solution Suite For NetWeaver CE 7.1

Softeon, an industry leader in supply chain execution software, announced that its SCflex 4.3 warehouse management system (WMS) has been re-certified by SAP AG, achieving both "Powered by SAP NetWeaver®" certification and SAP-certified integration with the SAP® ERP application
Herndon, VA (PRWEB) -- Softeon, an industry leader in supply chain execution software, announced that its SCflex 4.3 warehouse management system (WMS) has been re-certified by SAP AG, achieving both "Powered by SAP NetWeaver®" certification and SAP-certified integration with the SAP® ERP application.
SCflex 4.3 has been certified for deployment on the SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment (SAP NetWeaver CE) 7.1 offering. It has also been certified for integration with SAP ERP Release 6.0 via SAP's recommended interface for the integration of decentralized Warehouse Management Systems 4.6 (SAP LE-IDW). Softeon is committed to providing best-of-breed WMS functionality in support of SAP ERP from Release 4.6C upwards to Release 6.0.
"As Softeon's supply chain suite is built on a Java/J2EE-based services-oriented architecture, we have embraced the SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 platform through the JAVA-EE-ADV-7.1 (advanced certification) scenario," said Shyam Krishna, executive vice president of Softeon. "Softeon SCflex has also achieved SAP Solution Manager Ready status."
Solutions that qualify as SAP Solution Manager Ready are made visible in the customer's SAP system landscape directory, displayed within SAP Solution Manager at the customer site. With SCflex achieving this certification status, the customer's support staff or members of the SAP Active Global Support organization can easily identify and track the current configuration and log files of the SCflex software within the system landscape. This makes it easier for support personnel to identify and perform root-cause analysis for the customer when needed.
"We have a proven approach and the technology platform to reduce the time, cost and risk of integration with any external system," said Gana Govind, president, Softeon. "Achieving SAP certification demonstrates these capabilities and our commitment to successful system deployments."
Achieving certified integration through the SAP LE-IDW 4.6 interface allows SCflex 4.3 to handle all WMS transactions through SAP-defined scenarios. The certified functionalities are Goods Receipt for Purchase Order, Goods Issue for Sales Order, Inventory Differences and Posting Changes, Handling Unit Management, and Status Message for iDocs. Therefore, Softeon SCflex delivers a robust, high-performance interface to handle the ERP-WMS transaction flow besides providing best-of-breed WMS functionality and real-time visibility to SAP solutions at all times.
