Do You Know Your TCO?

When determining whether to upgrade your data collection equipment, there are a number of factors to consider. For instance, the device cost itself only makes up 20-25 percent of the overall annual total cost of ownership (TCO). Other lifetime costs to take into account are IT expenses, average lifespan of your device, labor savings and the impact of equipment failures or downtime.
