SCI Group Emerges As The New Brand For Progistix, AMG, Assured And First Team
The Canadian supply chain company that began as Progistix Solutions and, over the last 14 years, expanded to include AMG Logistics, Assured Logistics and First Team Transport has now evolved into a unified brand called SCI Group Inc.
Jim Eckler, president and CEO of SCI Group, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, says the new, integrated brand reinforces the company's market position as an end-to-end provider of supply chain solutions to business, retail and industrial customers. SCI Group's new identity is also critical to the company's growth strategy as it prepares to focus on new markets and strengthen its hold in existing ones.

The SCI Group includes three supporting brands:
- Progistix Solutions Inc., which offers highly specialized service parts logistics solutions for technology and industrial businesses
- SCI Logistics Ltd. for supply chain services for manufacturers and retailers with direct-to-store, business-to-consumer and business-to-business fulfillment requirements. The AMG Logistics and Assured Logistics brands have been merged into this new brand.
- First Team Transport Inc., which provides contract and dedicated transportation services for high-value products as well as general transportation management solutions throughout Canada.
- As part of its rebranding strategy, SCI Group has created a unified and highly recognizable brand design across its subsidiaries featuring blue and red as its corporate colors.
