Workabout route is designed for complete Route Delivery and Remote Sales Order Entry operations with functionality that includes route/customer sequencing, order creation, tracking returns and deposits, on-the-fly editing capabilities, receipt printing, truck inventories, order/sales reports, direct connect and remote dial up communications, and much more. Using a combination of Psion's robust Workabout MX handheld computer and Workabout Route software, provides for a very fast, efficient, and powerful route accounting tool…yet it's easy enough to use for those not so familiar with portable or desktop computer automation.

Workabout Route software was designed around PC systems that track entire inventories and orders for distribution centers, and includes built in modules that offer additional features such as two-way messaging, mileage/fuel tracking, etc. A wide range of peripherals are supported including multiple printer types, desktop and vehicle docking stations, various modem solutions, bar code scanners (integrated or tethered), etc.

Being dynamic in design, Workabout Route can be utilized within many different types of route accounting applications from dairy, snack, ice, and beverage delivery, to hardware and automotive parts distribution. And because of its built-in flexibility, Workabout Route supports Route Delivery, Route Fulfillment, and Pre-Sales Order Entry functions, which are easily configured within Workabout Route.

ASC Route
The ASC Route tool is based on a cost effective, scalable database engine designed to help store, track, and manage all of your areas and routes. ASC Route offers an efficient means of controlling and managing customer, item, order, and other account data transferred between the PC and each portable computer. Report generation capabilities for order reports, usage reports, over/short reports, etc. are included within ASC Route (custom reports can be made available upon request).
