AGI Worldwide, provider of the software solutions for supply chain execution, announced recently that Savino Del Bene USA Inc., one of the leading transportation and logistics provider with facilities throughout the United States, has selected AGI's Subscription Based WMS solution to help Savino improve operational efficiencies in its Chicago warehouse operations.

"We were looking for a flexible WMS that would support the complex business processes required for our operations. AGI's Subscription Based WMS solution provides us with the ability to implement the full capabilities of an advanced Warehouse Management System without the typical significant up-front investment and provided a packaged, risk free solution to our immediate operational requirements," said Charles Rocha, Information Technology Manager for Savino Del Bene USA Inc., Chicago Office.

AGI's Subscription Based WMS solution will integrate with Savino's existing order processing and accounting systems, and will enable Savino to streamline receiving processes through use of Advanced Shipping Notices, achieve real-time inventory visibility and lot control, improve order picking productivity, and have paperless operations though use of radio frequency terminals.

"Logistics providers like Savino are often faced with the increasing challenges of service demands, process requirements, efficiency, and accurate inventory management," said Tracy Perdue, Vice President of AGI Worldwide. "AGI's subscription based approach will help Savino identify and prove out the benefits that they know they can gain and will lead to a more comprehensive understanding of the enabling value of WMS capabilities. We are very excited to partner with Savino Del Bene USA Inc., and to help the company continue to drive operational improvement."
