RFID Supply Chain Lecture: Kelowna High Tech CEO To Present 'RFID And Global Supply Chain Management' At Purchasing Management Association Workshop
RFind Systems CEO Sharon Barnes has been asked by the BC Institute Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) to present at their 3-day, 15th annual Workshop and trade show on Thursday September 20, 2007 at Manteo Resort in Kelowna, BC.
"This year's theme is Trends in Global Supply Chain Management, and we are very pleased that RFind Systems will be speaking to our members and delegates as professionals in supply chain management about the whole area of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and how it affects their businesses," said Geraldine Kennedy, C.P.P. – BC Institute PMAC's Executive Director.
"It's an honour to be asked to present at this conference, especially since we've just be named one of the Top 10 Companies to Watch by Manufacturing Automation." said Barnes. "BC Purchasing managers are intimately involved in the supply chain," she said. "They need to understand how RFID is changing the whole global supply chain and how it applies to everything from security passes to finding snow ploughs in the yard and from bus passes to measuring time in a work cell in lean manufacturing," she said.
