This portable UHF Gen 2 RFID reader, model 246002, performs wireless transmission and conducts effective data collection, management and transfer. It offers a maximum read distance of 7m and a writing range of up to 4m. The handheld RFID reader is compatible with ISO 18000-6b, EPC Class 1 Gen 1 and Gen 2 and ISO 18000-6c compliant transponders. This multi-protocol supported reader is finished with a rugged industry standard housing yet remains light-weight and compact in size. It is waterproof and dustproof and withstands strong vibration and also maintains optimum performance even in harsh environments.
