Performance Optimization: Popular Distribution Metrics Seminar Benchmark Now! Is Scheduled

Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) has announced that Benchmark Now! — the popular seminar on analyzing and improving performance in the distribution center — has been scheduled for Sept. 27-28, 2006 in Oak Brook (Chicago), IL.

The seminar will be led by performance measurement experts Kate Vitasek and Karl Manrodt, PhD, authors of WERC's 2006 DC Measures.

Benchmark NOW! is designed for executives and managers who are responsible for optimizing performance in the distribution center. Using WERC's 2006 DC Measures and CSCMP's Deliver process benchmarks, attendees will learn how to choose, set and evaluate metrics that support a company's overall business strategy; how to link benchmarking to strategy and common pitfalls to avoid. Attendees will leave the seminar with a strategic performance roadmap for their own companies based on benchmark comparisons.
