OH Logistics Receives Recognition For Global Marketing Campaign

Ozburn-Hessey Logistics was recently awarded twice for their global brand awareness initiative, a marketing effort positioning the 3PL as an international services provider.

"Our marketing department has clearly and consistently communicated our global capabilities within the marketplace," commented Scott McWilliams, CEO of OH Logistics. "These accolades show the strength and depth of the campaign, which was essential in positioning our company as an international 3PL."

OH Logistics has grown dramatically transitioning from a local to regional to national and now international supply chain management company. In 2006 the acquisition of Barthco International expanded the company's service offering across the globe. OH Logistics' International Services business unit now has over 50 owned-offices in key locations across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, complemented by a strategic network provider. Consequently, the global brand awareness initiative was developed to highlight OH Logistics' new global services.

"We are delighted that the campaign was successful in further establishing our global presence," remarked Karen Hall, OH Logistics Director of Marketing and Communication. "Our team worked diligently throughout 2007 to reach customers, prospects, industry leaders, and employees, educating the various audiences about our worldwide service abilities."

OH Logistics was first recognized with an award of merit at the annual Transportation Marketing & Communications Association (TMCA) conference in Ponte Vedra, Fla. The TMCA's Compass Awards reflect the creative and measurable results of transportation-related marketing efforts. OH Logistics was one of the companies to be recognized with an award of merit out of 200+ total entries.

Following the TMCA conference, OH Logistics was named as a finalist in the Achievement in Marketing awards competition, hosted by the Nashville chapter of the American Marketing Association. The global brand awareness initiative was judged in the business-to-business category, and was featured in the awards dinner presentation on June 10.

Campaign tactics included global messaging through print and online advertising, search engine optimization, e-newsletter communications, the execution of an extensive media plan, modifications and updates to the corporate web site, holiday cards, screensavers, and more.
