Nufarm Selects SolveIT Software For Integrated Supply Chain Planning & Optimisation
SolveIT Software Pty Ltd., a leading provider of enterprise software for supply & demand optimisation and predictive modelling, announced today that it has signed a contract with Nufarm Ltd for the deployment of SolveIT Software's Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) system and Demand Planner. These applications will be configured for integrated supply chain planning and optimisation across the Australian and New Zealand operations of Nufarm, enabling a "one view" of the end-to-end supply chain and eliminating the need for multiple systems, spreadsheets and reports.
Once deployed, SolveIT Software's Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) system and Demand Planner will provide a complete view of Nufarm's forecasted demand, and plans for production, material replenishment, and logistics. The applications will produce a consolidated dashboard view of relevant information, and enable "what-if" analysis across the end-to-end supply chain to understand the impact of decisions on upstream and downstream business units, customers, and stakeholders.
"We are very pleased to be implementing the SolveIT Software system across our manufacturing and warehousing facilities in Australia and New Zealand" said Mr. Aaron Dunton, Supply Chain Manager, Nufarm Australia. "Successful implementation will deliver a number of key benefits across the business to improve efficiency, all of which will translate into greater levels of customer satisfaction."
SolveIT Software's Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) system and Demand Planner will interface with Nufarm's Oracle e1 system, and will manage the planning, scheduling, and optimisation of multi-site sourcing, production, storage, logistics, and distribution activities. Outcomes sought from the project include:
- Improved forecast accuracy:
- Automatic generation of robust, optimised production schedules.
- Reduced planning time for material replenishment and distribution.
- Improved visibility of information to various stakeholders:
- Ability to conduct what-if scenarios to assist with strategic and operational planning,
- Robust reporting.
