New Accreditations Of Supply Chain Programs Through National Accreditation Program
On December 19, through its National Accreditation Program, the Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council approved one new accreditation and renewed three others. Forty-eight education and training courses and programs are now accredited through the program.

Information about the National Accreditation Program
The NAP recognizes education and training offerings that meet the Council’s Standards for Accreditation, which were created with the assistance of CSA Standards and with significant input from supply chain stakeholders. The rigorous standards are based on national and international best practices and principles, and include requirements for course/program needs assessment, design, development, delivery, and student evaluation. To be accredited, a course or program must meet all of the standards. It is important to note that education providers themselves are not accredited; it is specific programs or individual courses that are accredited. Post-secondary institutions, associations and private training schools are eligible to submit their programs and courses for review. Applications are reviewed four times a year. The deadline for submission in the next round is February 1, 2013. Subsequent deadlines are every three months thereafter. Applications are submitted electronically and are reviewed by the Council’s Accreditation Review Panel.
