Logistics Award: Order Logistics 2006 InnoVision Technology Award Winner

Order Logistics (www.orderlogistics.com) is the winner of 2006 InnoVision Technology Award for Technology Application for its development and implementation of iSOURCE, a Web-based product design and sourcing application, designed to streamline and enable global sourcing of new products for manufacturing. eBridge Solutions (a wholly owned subsidiary of Order Logistics) is a sixth time InnoVision Technology Awards finalist. The company won in 2003 for its implementation of iPQA for Liz Claiborne.

Order Logistics implemented this solution for Gerber Childrenswear that transformed a previously manual time-intensive process into a streamlined, well managed, auditable process that enabled a multi-week reduction in the time it takes to bring a product to market. "A 16 day savings results in tremendous savings a year, with the impact to being able to bring products to market faster being far greater, since time-to-market is such a critical element in the apparel industry," said Paul McCreary, EVP of Business Solutions at Order Logistics.

The InnoVision Technology Awards program, founded in 1999 by Deloitte & Touche, recognizes and honors Upstate businesses, individuals and organizations that have demonstrated significant advancements in the areas of innovation and technological progress.

"The judges, an independent panel who continue to be impressed with the diversity of the technological advances here," said Amy Robichaud, InnoVision Advisory Board Chair. "We received more than 50 entries." The judges were impressed with the significant business impact of the iSOURCE application.

"At Order Logistics, we are about creating and implementing innovative supply-chain solutions. Through SupplierBRIDGE initiatives such as iSOURCE, we are helping our clients to remain successful in the fierce global market," said Brian Griffin, President of Order Logistics. "We are honored to be named a finalist and winner in this year's InnoVision Technology Awards. It reinforces our commitment to supply chain technology and to our clients."
