LogicTools Strengthens Its Position In The Market As The Standard In Network Design And Inventory Optimization Software
LogicTools, a leading developer of supply chain planning solutions, announced today that sales grew by over 50% in 2005 compared to 2004 with over 70% of revenue generated by software sales. The company significantly increased its headcount while maintaining a strong balance sheet with no debt and high revenue per employee.
In 2005, LogicTools added 30 new clients in a variety of verticals such as Retail, CPG, Chemicals, Industrial Manufacturing and High Tech. Much of the growth was a result of increased market interest in inventory optimization as well as continued recognition of LogicTools' network design as the industry standard. Indeed, the combination of network design, inventory optimization and production sourcing typically covers all of a company's strategic supply chain planning needs and continues to be an attractive complement to existing ERP systems. In addition, LogicTools' software partnership with SAP and certified integrations make LogicTools' solutions an easy choice for many companies.
"We are thrilled with the value our solutions generate for clients" said David Simchi-Levi, CEO of LogicTools "Our solutions have allowed LogicTools' customers to consistently improve supply chain performance by systematically considering all supply chain drivers including recent supply chain challenges such as rising transportation costs, forecast accuracy and the impact of off-shoring."
LogicTools has been recognized as the leader in providing easy to use, high performance and high ROI supply chain planning solutions. According to an AMR report published in September 2005, "LogicTools continues to make progress in gaining market traction on products that are reasonably priced and easy to deploy."
Other notable achievements for 2005 include a significant increase in the number of companies purchasing the entire suite, such as Cabela's and Del Monte; continued expansion of our partnerships with consulting firms using LogicTools' products for their clients; the expansion of LogicTools' software partnership with SAP through Powered by SAP NetWeaver certification of Inventory Analyst in May 2005; the release of new versions of Inventory Analyst, LogicNet Plus and LogicChain; and finally expansion into Europe and Latin America with some major accounts.
