JDF Distribution Executive Earns Designation As Certified Logistics Professional

Jason Flood, vice president of logistics for Coppell, Texas-based JDF Distribution, has received the prestigious designation of Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) from the International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA) – the foremost trade association for warehouse logistics companies.

The CLP designation was created by IWLA to set standards of excellence and promote professionalism throughout the third-party logistics industry. To earn a CLP, individuals must complete a rigorous logistics management curriculum and demonstrate service to the industry through professional speaking and writing, as well as participation on association committees.

According to Joel D. Anderson, IWLA president and chief executive officer, "Jason Flood is one of the emerging leaders within our industry. This designation demonstrates his commitment to establishing the highest standards of professionalism for both himself and the warehouse logistics industry."

Flood has held a variety of operations and sales management positions during his 17-year career in warehousing and transportation. Currently he serves as Chairman of the IWLA's Emerging Leaders Council, which provides a forum for idea sharing among future industry leaders.
