ILOG Recognized As A "Great Supply Chain Partner" For Significant Impact On Supply Chain Performance Of Customers

ILOG recently announced that supply chain professionals have chosen the company as one of Global Logistics and Supply Chain Strategies (GLSCS) magazine's "100 Great Supply Chain Partners." The award recognizes vendors and service providers whose technology, logistics, transportation or consulting solutions have made a significant impact on the efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance of their customers.

ILOG was selected from a pool of more than 1,800 nominations covering dozens of different industries over five continents. Selection was the result of a six-month process in which logistics and supply chain professionals nominated vendors and service providers in recognition of their outstanding support.

"It's an honor to receive this kind of appreciation from our customers," said ILOG CEO Pierre Haren, "Over the several years of our history in the optimization & supply chain industry, ILOG has worked with over 1,000 commercial customers to deliver robust planning and scheduling applications and optimization tools and engines, partnering with our customers to solve some of their most challenging planning and scheduling problems. We will continue to strive to deliver innovative solutions to help our customers meet complex challenges faced by businesses as we have done in the past."

In a move to strengthen ILOG's presence in the supply chain applications market, earlier this year ILOG completed its acquisition of LogicTools, a Chicago-based provider of supply chain planning applications. LogicTools has been a fast growing and profitable leader in supply chain network design and planning solutions as well as an innovator in the emerging inventory optimization space that industry analysts believe is strategic and essential to the next generation of supply chain management applications.

The acquisition added LogicTools' more than 200 customers to ILOG's installed base of Global 500 companies in the consumer goods, retail and manufacturing markets. The complete listing of the "100 Great Supply Chain Partners" for 2007 and accompanying editorial can be found in the July issue of Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies or the magazine's Web site at www.glscs.com
