i2 And The i2 User Group Now Accepting Nominations From Industry Leading Supply Chain Companies For Annual Awards Program

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As the supply chain industry evolves and becomes more complex, the transformative projects companies undergo to adapt to today's challenges require more speed, agility and innovation then ever before. To celebrate innovation and best practices, i2 Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:ITWO) and the i2 User Group are inviting i2 customers to submit nominations for the annual Ken Sharma Award for Excellence. Named in honor of i2 co-founder Ken Sharma, one of the pioneers of supply chain management, the award recognizes companies with i2 deployments either planned, in progress or complete with documented value received.

"I have been working with i2 since 1991 and had the distinct pleasure of interacting with Ken during the early days of the company. His vision was clear, to bring solutions to complex business challenges, and his legacy is honored through the tradition of this annual award. As chairman of the user group, today I have the opportunity to network with professionals running some of the largest and most complex supply chains in operation today. I look forward to recognizing their hard work through this award program," said i2 User Group Chairman Bill Bryan.

Nominees will be judged by independent industry analysts from AMR Research. Finalists will be selected based on the companies' overall vision, complexity of the project, innovation in approaching business challenges, time to value and results.

"As we deliver i2's vision of SCM 2.0, we are working more and more closely with our customers to drive business results fast. The Ken Sharma Awards honor Ken's legacy while at the same time recognizing our customer's hard work and supply chain results by highlighting their innovation and best practices," said i2 Chief Customer Officer and Executive Vice President Hiten Varia.
