Four Soft Announces Successful Implementation At Rohlig In Poland
Four Soft (4S), a global leader offering software solutions for transportation and logistics industry, is pleased to announce the successful deployment of its warehouse management software application - 4S elog at Rohlig Poland, a highly reputed freight forwarder and integrated logistics company in Poland.
The test run at Rohlig Poland has yielded positive results and they have started using the software in live environment from the second week of January 2009. Rohlig Poland, in its Poznan warehouse, is using 4S eLog to support two of its customers now and target to automate the processes of its other warehouse customers by end of February 2009. The implementation of the new warehouse management software will trigger dramatic improvements for Rohlig Poland, including real time processing of orders, streamlined procedures, enhanced warehouse management capabilities, reduced errors and increased productivity.
Rohlig Poland has been a long term client of Four Soft, who has been using CIEL and TWS applications (legacy products of Four Soft). To fulfill its rapidly expanding business, it was mandatory to modernize its traditional operations. They were looking out for a modern, easy to maintain, cost effective warehouse solution that works on new technologies to replace their existing product and chose 4S eLog. A contract for the implementation of the 4S eLog was signed in 2008, and by January 2009, Rohlig Poland went live with the new implemented system.
4S eLog built on the modern technology platform - J2EE, covers the logistics environment from factory to consumer, allows multiple warehouses and multiple clients to be managed from within a single environment, has RF capabilities and offers visibility to clients, their customers and their suppliers, as well as across warehouses and clients. With forecasting ability and extensive automation, the new warehouse management software system will help manufacturing, distribution companies, as well as 3PL companies move their products more quickly through their warehouse facilities to their customers' locations. Expected benefits include accurate operational efficiencies, reduce inventory holding costs and quick returns/ ROI.
