DSC Logistics Awarded Two Additional Locations For Customer Kimberly-Clark
Kimberly-Clark, one of the global leader in health, hygiene and well-being brands and the solutions they provide, has awarded DSC Logistics, a leading supply chain management company with a global network, the logistics center management of a new mixing center in Redlands, California, and a new Logistics Center in Romeoville, Illinois.
At DSC's new Redlands Logistics Center, Kimberly-Clark will be combining their Consumer and Professional divisions' products, as part of the "Network of the Future" strategy to move away from mill-based DC's into regional mixing centers. DSC will be handling the full line of Kimberly-Clark Consumer products, including Cottonelle, Kleenex and Huggies brands, as well as Professional products, including products and systems made for the washroom under brands like Scott, Kleenex and Kleenguard. DSC will be providing warehousing and custom kitting services, with outbounds to the LA and Southwest US regions.
At DSC's new Romeoville, Illinois, Logistics Center they will be providing warehousing services, as well as WMS technology for Kimberly-Clark's Professional division. In addition to the two new locations, Kimberly-Clark currently occupies space in DSC's Arlington, Texas, Coppell, Texas, Roanoke, Texas, McDonough, Georgia, Des Plaines, Illinois, and Mira Loma, California, Logistics Centers.
