JDA solutions chosen by leading German grocery retailer to optimize processes and help improve shelf- and floor-level planning
JDA Software Group, Inc., The Supply Chain Company, recently announced that Dohle Handelsgruppe Holding GmbH & Co.KG, Germany (HIT), a leading retailer with more than 90 stores in Germany, selected a number of space and floor planning solutions from the JDA Space and Category Managementsuite in the fourth quarter of 2011. The solutions, including JDA Space Planning, JDA Floor Planningand JDA Intactix Knowledge Base, were chosen to help improve shelf- and floor-level planning for increased merchandising effectiveness and improved customer satisfaction.
Dohle selected JDA Space and Category Management solutions to help rationalize its store layouts, optimize store-specific assortments, automate its merchandising based on pre-defined rules and policies, provide just-in-time employee information on new products, product changes and planograms, differentiate assortments based on local preferences and better anticipate consumer demand.
