Diversified Distribution, Inc. Expands Its Use Of Irista's Logistics Management System

Irista Inc., an industry leading provider of logistics management solutions today announces that Martinsville, VA based DDI Logistics has expanded its use of iristaWarehouse to a second distribution facility within its third party logistics network.

Following the successful implementation of iristaWarehouse to manage the activities of an apparel distributor earlier this year, DDI launched a second instance of the application in August. Configured for central deployment, DDI was able to manage both implementations with a minimum amount of professional services from Irista.

"Our implementations far exceeded our expectations because of the depth of functionality the baseline product has to offer," said Marty Staiger, director of information technology at DDI. "It was truly install it, configure it, and run it. Training was easily achieved on the fly when transition to the new system was complete."

Irista's logistics management system will optimally manage the fulfillment process by balancing the real-time conditions, constraints, and priorities of labor, space, inventory, and orders. This will allow DDI Logistics to enhance labor productivity, improve space utilization, and achieve superior levels of traceability, inventory, and shipment accuracy.
