Distribution Partnership: D-Link And Westcon Group Announce North American Distribution Agreement
D-Link, the networking solutions provider for business and consumers and Westcon Group, Inc., one of the leading specialty distributor in networking, security, mobility and convergence, announced a distribution agreement in which Westcon Group will offer D-Link's xStack line of business networking and connectivity solutions through its extensive network of value-added resellers (VARs) across North America.
Under terms of the agreement, Westcon Group will leverage its infrastructure to offer D-Link's high-quality, yet competitively priced, xStack networking products to its focused network of solution providers, VARs, integrators and dealers in the convergence channel, claims the company. D-Link product offerings will are designed to appeal to the distributor's major networking customers who rely on Westcon Group's specialized expertise in convergence and security products and other complex and advanced technologies.

By developing products compliant with TAA, D-Link will be eligible to sell its most popular switching solutions on General Service Administration (GSA) supply schedules.
