Delta Software Warehouse Performance Systems To Enable Life Fitness European Supply Chain Integration

‘DeltaWMS' systems to provide a single, unified view of Life Fitness' inventory DeltaWMS to be integrated across three Life Fitness distribution centres in the UK, Holland and Germany

Fitness equipment global leader Life Fitness, a wholly owned division of Brunswick Corp with logistics operations in the UK, Holland Spain and Germany has chosen warehouse performance systems market leader Delta Software to integrate its warehousing and logistics operations across Europe using ‘DeltaWMS' systems incorporating radio frequency (RF) technology.

Life Fitness EMEA supply chain director Jim Field says: "Our objective is to manage our business across the region, as one. The DeltaWMS systems will be integrated across our four European operations, with all data stored in a central Life Fitness database. This will allow us to manage our inventory across the region, improve our supply chain control and hone our warehouse performance management – enabling us to manage our business as a single European entity. DeltaWMS is also more cost-effective".

DeltaWMS systems will sit in Life Fitness' three third party logistics (3PL) centres where its warehousing logistics is outsourced to Foulger (UK), Geodis (Holland) and Wincanton (Germany). DeltaWMS – already up and running in the UK - has just gone live in Holland, to time and to budget, with Germany to follow.
