Crimson & Co has launched an updated version of its successful scprime book, covering the journey to supply chain excellence.

This is version three of Crimson & Co's established book, highlighting best practice processes across the supply chain, with a new section dedicated to people capabilities; ensuring the right people are in the right jobs doing the right things.

Richard Powell, Managing Director of Crimson & Co, explained: "The scprime book is fact driven, not subjective, and provides practical guidance and insight when developing supply chain processes or identifying and improving people capabilities.

"The supply chain is just one of many time consuming business areas for senior executives and scprime helps them to address their most prominent challenges; from change management to minimising business risk and maximising financial return.

"scprime is not just a supply chain book, but a business improvement model, applicable to all industries and organisations. The new people capabilities update covers the final missing piece since the second edition, completing the full supply chain excellence outline," concluded Powell.

scprime is Crimson & Co's powerful supply chain improvement approach, based on best practice benchmarking. It identifies supply chain excellence in terms that are meaningful to each specific organisation and ensures that improvements are sustainable. It aligns people and processes to ensure that a business can create and maintain competitive advantage through its supply chain.

Crimson & Co draws on more than 140 years' combined experience at board level, providing vast industry knowledge spanning supply chain strategy, planning and control, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics. scprime is the result of these many years of practical experience, aligning improvements with business strategy.
