Cornerstone Solutions To Implement Warehouse BOSS At Princess Auto

Cornerstone Solutions, a leading provider of supply chain execution solutions and SSA Global Technologies business partner, today announced that they will implement Warehouse BOSS at Princess Auto, a leading Canadian distributor of industrial tools, equipment, and promotional items. Cornerstone Solutions will implement Warehouse BOSS at Princess Auto's 147, 000 square foot facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

With Cornerstone Solutions and Warehouse BOSS, Princess Auto expects to transition its multi-channel distribution operation from a manual operated facility to a fully automated, "paperless" one, while increasing inventory accuracy and labor productivity.

Distributing its products through twenty one retail stores (with another store opening this fall) , as well as a national mail order division., Princess Auto markets a comprehensive line of quality industrial goods including hand, farm and air tools; compressors; pressure washers; hydraulic products some of which are produced by their own manufacturing division.

"Our business has grown over the past several years, causing us to outgrow our current system, which was largely manual and paper-based. In order to provide our customers with the level of service they are accustomed to, we needed to revamp our operation," said Wolfe Smythe Vice President of Logistics at Princess Auto. "We selected Warehouse BOSS and teamed with Cornerstone Solutions for our implementation services because of their breath of experience with the software."

Cornerstone Solutions will be providing implementation services, operational recommendations, training, and implementation support. In addition, they will be assisting Princess Auto with custom enhancements that address their specific requirements. These will include modifications for their promotional and mail order departments, along with others. Cornerstone Solutions will also be developing an interface with Princess Auto's host system, MMS from JDA Software, to Warehouse BOSS.
