Converge Opens New Singapore Facility For Electronics Supply Chain Services
Converge, a leading supply chain partner for technology-driven companies, announces the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility in Singapore, which becomes the regional logistics center for its growing electronics supply chain services business.
"This is an investment in core infrastructure that will help us deliver better value to our customers," says Converge CEO, Frank Cavallaro. "In the process, we also are expanding our reverse supply chain and IT asset disposal services to complement our core forward supply chain solutions offering. Demand for these critical solutions is on the rise."
Located at 20 Toh Guan Road, the new facility replaces Converge's previous facility in Singapore. With 50 percent more space, the new complex offers substantially more storage capacity and a variety of expansion options to support Converge's growing service offerings in IT asset disposition and reverse supply chain solutions.
In an area known for its modern, high-tech facilities, this one is no exception. The high-security Converge plant features pervasive Wi-Fi access as well as restricted electrostatic discharge ESD areas for proper electronics processing and testing.
Perhaps most important is the fact that the new facility is closer to the major port facilities and shipping lanes that are so crucial to rapid import and export of materials being processed for regional customers as well as for electronics products moving through the global supply chain.
