Converge jumped one spot this year from the number two position in ranking from 2005. Converge's revenues for 2006 were $450 million. According to editors at Purchasing, independents took a major leap in re-emphasizing the word 'quality' in the electronic components sold in 2006 with the goal of reversing a problem in the industry for several years.
