Brady SI and Wavelink Announce Expanded Strategic Partnership

Brady Systems Integration, a division of Brady Worldwide (NYSE: BRC), a leading provider of wireless Automatic Data Collection (ADC), and Wavelink Corporation, a leading provider of mobile infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced their expanded partnership to jointly offer customers additional functionality for their ADC systems.

In addition to offering Wavelink Studio(TM) for wireless application development, Brady Systems Integration (SI) will now leverage Wavelink's wireless local area network (WLAN) and mobile device management software solutions to enable customers to rapidly deploy, efficiently manage and increase security of their wireless ADC systems. The addition of Wavelink Mobile Manager(TM) and Wavelink Avalanche(TM) to the solution set further extends the breadth of Brady SI's ability to proactively solve problems for its ADC customers.

By coupling Brady SI services with Wavelink Mobile Manager and Wavelink Avalanche, IT professionals can now integrate their ADC systems within their enterprise and efficiently manage their wireless LANs and mobile devices through dynamic, over-the-air software synchronization.

Additionally, Wavelink's wireless LAN security solutions enables Brady SI to provide ADC systems that can automate access point and mobile device configurations for controlling network access, and mitigate the risks of the flaw in the WEP encryption standard.

"Brady SI will now be able to offer customers a comprehensive solution that couples secure device and network management with our ability to rapidly design and implement projects. This increases the value to our customers and gives them an opportunity to realize even greater return on investment," said Blake Tritico, Managing Director of Brady Systems Integration. "This is clearly a significant alliance for Brady SI."

"Brady SI's services, combined with Wavelink's leading wireless products, offers customers cutting-edge solutions to effectively manage and secure their wireless LANs," said David Bullis, president and CEO of Wavelink. "As a leading provider of ADC solutions, Brady SI is an ideal partner for Wavelink and we're pleased to expand our companies' strong alliance. This partnership enables Wavelink to broaden its reach to Brady SI's extensive customer base, as well as create opportunities in new markets."

Brady SI and Wavelink have been providing customers with joint solutions since 1996. Wavelink Studio, an open application development and management platform which allows rapid development and easy management of powerful wireless enterprise applications using existing skills and IT systems, has contributed to the wide adoption of Brady SI integrated solutions.

"The Automatic Data Collection system developed and implemented by Brady SI, with the use of Wavelink wireless software, alleviates the large data entry burden required for our manufacturing and warehouse operations by significantly reducing the amount of time required to enter critical data," said Chris Ther, Applications Manager for Scholle's Corporate IT. "The system has proven to provide us with greater efficiency and cost savings."
