Associated Food Stores Selects iTradeNetwork For GDSN Data Pool Services

Pleasanton, CA (Marketwired) - iTradeNetwork, Inc. (ITN), the leading provider of global supply chain solutions for the food industry, today announced Associated Food Stores (AFS) has selected ITN to be its Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) data pool service provider. AFS will also use ITN's catalog management tools to align its master data with supplier GDSN data. This decision by AFS attests to both companies' commitment to the GS1 Foodservice initiative and GDSN as an industry standard.

"ITN is a great technology partner whose solutions have been implemented in several segments of our supply chain," said Wade Judd, AFS Senior Vice President and CIO. "ITN offers us a complete solution for accurate, standards-based product data. We can receive rich supplier data for use with our customer-facing systems and, more importantly, we can continue to integrate GDSN data in collaborative business transactions with our partners through ITN's Order Management System (OMS). ITN's solution for accurate product data and transactions will help us implement GDSN more quickly across our supply chain to realize the full benefits we expect of the standards. Our implementation of the ITN solutions have been very smooth and provided the results that we had planned on."

"Our partnership with AFS has greatly contributed to ITN's success in the retail market segment," said Rob Bonavito, President of ITN. "We are excited by their continued confidence in us. This is a natural continuation of the ongoing relationship the two companies have shared since 2010."
