Withstanding abrasion from outdoor blowing sand or indoor media blast chambers is now possible with asset tags featuring strong and clear plastic coating materials.

The combination of SandShield's .008" thick abrasion-repellent plastic coating and Camcode's Metalphoto® anodized aluminum bar code label makes these labels ideal for even the toughest blowing-sand environments, both outdoors and in media blast chambers using silica, glass beads or even steel pellets.

The SandShield Label is suitable for adhesion to such materials as glass, acrylic, stainless steel, and even tough CARC paint in applications like vehicles, weapons, and support equipment. Because it is designed as a plastic lens applied over the barcode label, there's no need for an added step in application or drying time, as with sprays or liquid coatings. SandShield Labels are designed to be installed using mechanical attachment or pressure-sensitive adhesive.
