DEX Introduces Supply Chain Application Suites

DEX (Data Exchange Corporation), a leading supply chain solutions provider for high tech industries, recently introduced unique and robust IT software solutions for companies worldwide through customizable, Oracle -based application suites. These scalable application suites support forward logistics, reverse logistics, repair, procurement, and supply chain integration.

To provide flexibility, DEX supply chain suites can be provided as stand-alone applications (licensed software bundles customizable by application suite) or managed applications (DEX-hosted, user-configured software applications that minimize start-up costs, eliminate ERP management, and reduce the overall IT budget).

"DEX has extended the standard Oracle eBusiness suite to add specialized functionality for aspects of the supply chain," stated Chip Dickinson, Senior Vice President and General Manager of DEX Systems. "With more than 12 years of expertise in supply chain software design and implementation, we can provide rapid IT systems design, integration and deployment services to our customers," concluded Dickinson.

Each of the below applications provides real-time visibility to senior management for up-to-date decision making.

  • DEX Returns Management: Full visibility and control of the entire returns process from RMA issuance until the product reaches its final destination.
  • DEX Warehouse Management: Automated system for the processing, tracking, and collection of all inventory and pull count data from the warehouse.
  • DEX Repair Management: Product repair planning, scheduling, and routing solution for quicker and more efficient repair execution and processing.
  • DEX Recertification Management: Automated recertification planning, scheduling, and routing interface for floor personnel, including checklists and instructions.
  • DEX Engineering: Creation of engineering controls, including process routings, online checklists, test procedures, and documentation, with built-in electronic approval system.
  • DEX eProcurement: Online purchase order creation, approval, and delivery system for increased product turn-around times, efficient procurement tracking, and real-time visibility.
  • DEX Requests Management: Enables users to enter internal project requests, and tracks the staff, contractors, and customers tied to each assigned project.
  • DEX Portals: Custom-designed web portals tailored to the customer's brand, providing specific information and visibility for internal personnel and customers, as required.
  • DEX OrderVision: DEX's multiple supply chain functions are integrated into an industrial strength, web-based system, enabling real-time visibility of all workstreams and activities.
  • DEX Supplier Management: Manages and measures the entire outsourced returns and repair process from RMA requests entry to product delivery.
  • DEX Recovery Management: Automates the asset recovery process by streamlining asset tracking activities and simplifying inventory management and shipments.
  • DEX Integration: Organizes data from all subcontractor repair and recertification processes into a single system for real-time interaction, inquiry and management.

The suites operate on various operating platforms. Bundles of these suites are also available to customers for improved cost-effectiveness.
