IMPACT, the International Medical Products Anti-Counterfeiting Taskforce, is a global coalition founded by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2006 to build coordinated networks across and between countries in order to halt the production, trading and selling of counterfeit medicines around the globe. The Forum, which will bring together technology developers and regulatory authorities from more than 40 countries around the world, is part of the IMPACT's commitment to communicate recent technology trends and provide recommendations on how these new technologies can fight counterfeit medical products.

He will also offer observations on the roll-out of Track & Trace anti-counterfeiting technologies and highlight programs that have worked and those that are works-in-progress. Koh's presentation will deliver valuable insights into how these technologies can form the basis for proactive rather than reactive anti-counterfeit measures and broader product security programs worldwide.

Koh is Chief Strategy Officer at SupplyScape where he helps companies to identify vulnerabilities in the drug supply chain, create strategies to make the distribution system more secure and improve business performance. Koh is a 20-year value chain veteran, having led supply chain initiatives in Asia, Europe and the US for companies such as Pepsi-Cola, Arrow Electronics, General Motors and Hewlett-Packard. As Director of Applications Research at MIT's Auto-ID Lab, Koh led the university's groundbreaking work with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), developing methods for fighting counterfeit drugs with technology.
