QVC, Inc. is one of the world's largest multimedia retailers, and broadcasts live 24 hours a day, 364 days a year. QVC employs more than 17,200 people worldwide and the channel reaches 166 million homes worldwide.
In the UK and Ireland, QVC is the leading shopping channel. The company employs over 2,000 employees in the UK split over two sites: Battersea in London, and Knowsley, just outside of Liverpool.
Ryzex has supported and maintained QVC's entire estate of handheld mobile computers for a number of years.
QVC required a new hand held solution for ‘put away' applications in their warehouse for jewellery stock. They needed a device that was smaller and more lightweight than their existing units as it was felt that their current equipment was not fit for purpose with this specific application.
