Mark Millar To Lead China Expansion For Rasmussen & Simonsen International Pte Ltd (RSI)

Rasmussen & Simonsen International Pte Limited (RSI) have appointed logistics industry veteran Mark Millar to lead their expansion into the China market.

As RSI's Regional Director for Greater China, Mark will be responsible for establishing RSI in the China market place, developing business with targeted customers and building the appropriate infrastructure and organization to serve the needs and demands of this expanding market.

RSI is an industry-specific training and consulting company, focused on providing best-in-class learning and development solutions for the global shipping, logistics and transportation sector. Headquartered in Singapore, RSI has successfully delivered corporate training programs in over twenty countries for the industry's leading service providers - including some of the world's largest ocean carriers, shipping terminal operators and 3PL logistics companies.

Mark Millar has over 20 years experience in the global logistics sector and brings to RSI his extensive knowledge of the greater China market, where he held executive positions at Platinum Logistix, Modus Link, Exel Contract Logistics (now DHL) and UPS Supply Chain Solutions.

A regular commentator on China supply chain issues, Mark has developed a wealth of market and industry expertise, complementing RSI's industry specific focus on the global shipping, logistics and transportation sectors.

Mark's distinguished international business development career - in Europe, USA and Asia Pacific - spans more than 20 years and he is an active participant in industry organizations, currently serving as Vice President for Supply Chain Asia and as Chairman of the International Relations Committee at the Hong Kong Logistics Association. He previously served as Honorary Chairman of the China Supply Chain Council and Vice-Chair of the Logistics Committee at the American Chamber in Shanghai.
