Intelligrated Launches Multicolor Real Time Solutions Trak3 Pick-To-Light Hardware At NA 2010
Intelligrated a leading North American-owned automated material handling solutions provider, announces the launch of Real Time Solutions multicolor Trak3 pick-to-light hardware at NA 2010 in Cleveland, Ohio. The new technology, which allows for multiple order fillers in a single zone to offset peak demand, debuts along with upgraded Real Time Solutions order fulfillment software and mobile applications for iPhone and other browser-based smart phones.
The Real Time Solutions Trak3 display offers multicolored indicator lights to enable up to four order fillers per zone, simultaneous filling of multiple orders or the ability to direct operators to perform value-added services. The energy-efficient LED displays are easy-to-read, simple to install and require minimal order filler training, providing clear directives for increased flexibility of labor assignment. Updated at-a-glance workload status screens allow supervisors to make immediate zone assessments and view deployed workers with their associated color during demanding times. Intelligrated has also released its new RF Assist application that allows operators to handle hot orders or exceptions using RF or voice-directed activity without interfering with pick-to-light operations.

Also new from Intelligrated are user-friendly Real Time Solutions applications for iPhone and other browser-based smart phones. The new applications provide DC supervisors with quick access to productivity and labor monitoring screens from their mobile phones. Supervisors can also get an inside status view of any carton using their iPhone's camera or by typing in a UPC code. This mobile productivity checking ensures that backlogged or rogue cartons are addressed and gives supervisors the information to make the correct adjustments.
